"Marley"

ADOPTED!!!

Marley was surrendered by a single mother who had little financial resources to care for her. She is a lovely, extremely friendly girl who needs someone to teach her proper manners and behavior. She is a little too much dog for toddlers & small kids, but in the proper atmosphere, has the potential to become a great dog! She is not aggressive towards people in anyway, and would be a great dog for a home with lots of property. She is such a sweetie. Marley has been at our shelter for a whole year this month. Wouldn't you agree that its been long enough?

Skeeter

Skeeter is an adult neutered male, pitbull, he's about 5 years old. Skeeter has been bounced back and forth several times between homes. He was originally brought in as a stray. Skeeter LOVES kids but does not get along well with other animals, so we are looking for an only animal home.

Curt

ADOPTED!!

Curt is a 9 month old Male Malamute mix. He has a smoother coat than siblings and is a bit shyer but what a gem of a pup! He probably wont get that big, seems to be a great pup but will need some training before he is completely housebroken. Curt has become very shy and will need someone who understands that he will need a lot of time and patience. He has never shown any aggression and we believe that his shyness is due to lack of socialization as a puppy, rather than physical abuse. He has great potential and wants to be a good boy.

Callahan

Adult male Rottie, cautious but great when he feels comfy with you. Callahan is probably about 5 years old and would do best in a home with out small children, as he does not like to be "messed with".

Wi he

Wi he is a four year old female shepard mix. She is around 50 pounds and is a very friendly girl. The only command she seems to know is "sit" but she seems very smart and easily trainable.

"Ralph"

An adult male, pit mix, grey and white. We are unsure of his actual age but we guess somewhere around 5 years old. Although, Ralph was placed in a car as a deterrant for repossession, and was confiscated by Animal Control. He is a really good dog, and loves to play with stuffed animals but does not chew them.

Milo

This gorgeous boy is an extra large pointer mix who is just miserable in a cage! He's a big dog and needs room to run. He seems to be good with everyone and loves to sniff! He's got the pointer insticts and would help you find just about anything!

Red

This handsome guy is a young adult male English Coonhound, and he is white with red ticking. He is definately a very strong, healthy boy who needs a little leash training. He is very smart and could be trained to hunt! His nose is always to the ground and is always interested in his surroundings.

Leila

ADOPTED!!

Leila is a female plott hound mix. She is not yet spayed but gets along with everything. She has energy but is not too hyper. Leila would be great with a fenced yard where she could run around!

Stumpy

ADOPTED!!

This little man is believed to be a jack russell/min pin mix. He weighs around 25 pounds. Stumpy is probably around 5-6 years old and would do best without small children. He is a sweet boy who loves attention.

Chickapee

ADOPTED!!

This girl is a two year old adult female shepard mix. Chickapee is a very shy girl who needs A FENCED YARD! She will run. She is a very sweet girl once she gets to know you but we have no record of her past as she was rescued from another shelter.

Cassie

ADOPTED!!

Cassie is a female lab mix and is only about a year old. She was brought up from a southern shelter and tested positive for Heartworm. She has been treated and is currently on cage rest, and she is working on recuperating. Cassie is a very easy going, mellow girl and would be excellent in any type of home.

Bambi

ADOPTED!!

What a beautiful girl! 2 year old spayed female English Coonhound. Bambi is a very gentle girl with plenty of energy and great potential. She would make a great hunting companion!

Butch

ADOPTED!!

Butch is a Neutered male Mastiff mix, about 2 years old. Absolutely handsome as can be with a sweet personality! Butch is a large dog and is very strong. He also does not seem to like other dogs so we are hoping for an only pet home.

Thor

ADOPTED!!

This big guy is a mastiff mix of some sort. He's an adult male and probably weighs close to 90 pounds. Thor is very cautious when it comes to meeting new people and we would like to find him an adult only, no other pets home. Once he gets to know you, he's very sweet and we would like to do a few meetings with him and his new family before he goes home. It seems he's had a rough life. Once he loves you, there's no going back.

"Boo"

ADOPTED!!

Boo is a 3 year old pure Smooth coat Fox Terrier. She is not fond of other dogs, but wonderful with people. She is tri colored and has plenty of energy and would be excellent in a place with plenty of room to run.

Weylin

ADOPTED!!!

Weylin is an adult male mixed breed, brindle and white. This dog is a total sweetie and was rescued from a terrible life. He needs someone who understands he is shy and can work with him as he has never properly been trained. He does walk well on a leash.

Allie

ADOPTED!!!

Allie is a brindle & white mixed breed. She is a spayed female, and only about 1 year old! Loving and companionable. She seems to be good with other dogs. Very mellow disposition and loves kids!

Jasmine

Adopted!!

Jasmine is a female Tree Walker Coon Hound.She is probably about 2-3 years old, and she would be a great dog for a farm, or someone with a fenced in yard! Jasmine came in with four puppies, all of which have been adopted, now it's her turn!

Charlotte

ADOPTED!!!!

This little girl was rescued from another shelter. She is about 12 weeks old and is some sort of lab mix. We DO NOT know what she is mixed with but she sure is sweet! Charlotte is the biggest of the three sisters and has plenty of puppy pep! WHAT A DOLL!!!

Gaston

ADOPTED!!

Adult male akita, seems to be very sweet, was brought in as a stray and is very strong but loves everyone! He seems to get along well with everyone and knows his basic commands.

Louie

ADOPTED!!

This beautiful boy is a two year old hound mix and is VERY well behaved! Louie loves to play and is very curious. He can be a little shy with new people but loves to be the center of attention. He would be excellent with kids because he loves to run around.

Buddy

ADOPTED!!

Buddy is an adult neutered male Beagle mix, black & white. He weighs around 30 pounds and he an be dominate, so we are looking for a no other pets home for him. Buddy is usually a very easy-going dog and needs a chance to be loved!

"Shortcake"

ADOPTED!!

Shortcake is a medium sized mixed breed female dog. She has wirey hair and is probably about 2 years old. SHe is a sweetie but is still a little shy around some men. If you give her some time, she'll love you if you love her!

Titan

ADOPTED!!

Titan is a 15 week old hound mix. He was born in foster care and was adopted to a home with several dogs. We believe that he would do better in a home without so many other animals. He does well with the other animals but we believe this lifestyle may be too hectic for him. He has been returned from foster care and is waiting for you at the shelter!

"Harry"

ADOPTED!!

Medium sized hairy mix breed male adult. Harry is probably a middle aged dog who seems to be good with everything. However he's not a huge fan of the vet. Harry is a great mellow dog and would be great for a mellow person, without a hectic lifestyle.

Ginger

ADOPTED!!

Ginger is a spayed female Pit mix, Red & white. Seems to be a very mellow girl and loves to be petted. Great with kids.This sly little girl has MASTERED the puppy dog face. Won't you give her a chance?

Petunia

ADOPTED!!

This little darling is at 4 month old female boxer mix. She is very sweet and loves to play! She is working on leash training and we are teaching her manners. She is crate trained and very smart although we do not know if she is housebroken.

Isaac

ADOPTED!!!

Isaac is a gorgeous one year old male hound mix. He has the sweetest personality and loves attention. He is willing to do anything to please you so he is a quick learner. He is a doll and everyone that sees him thinks he is great!

Leila's Puppies

Their mother was rescued from a North Carolina shelter. Leila was brought to us pregnant and had her puppies in foster care. She is a Plott Hound Mix, approximately 50 pounds. We are unsure of what the father to these cute little babies was, so we cannot guarantee on a size. We can GUESS that they will be around 60 pounds or so, but again, that is only a guess.

Parker

ADOPTED!!

This sweet little thing is the instigator of the bunch. She is the most curious and gets all the others interested. She loves to cuddle and is the first to climb in your lap.

Mugga

ADOPTED!!

Mugga is the wiggle worm of the group, she loves to know what's going on. She has the sweetest little face and needs someone to love it!

Buddah

ADOPTED!!

Buddah is the biggest pup of the litter. He is very sweet and extra adventurous. He loves to play with toys and plays well by himself.

Syxx

ADOPTED!!

Syxx, like his brother, loves to explore. He loves to snuggle and is super cute! He is a very good little boy with alot of potential.

Dusty

ADOPTED!!

Dusty (aka Daisy) is a female blue tick hound and is about 5 years old. She was brought up from another shelter with 7 puppies. She is a sweet little girl and loves attention. She is great with kids and other animals. She does, however, become very attached, very quickly.Dusty walks well on the leash and is housebroken! She would make the perfect dog for just about anyone.

Ronnie

ADOPTED!!

Ronnie is a male Plott Hound Mix who loves to play.He is about 15 weeks old. He is a gorgeous brindle boy who wants nothing but a wonderful home.

Renesmee

Renesmee is a female Plott Hound Mix and loves to cuddle. She is about 15 weeks old. She is very playful.
